Hey book bestie! I’m Jessica Sydney, but I prefer to go by Jessi. I’m a romance author from the east coast of the United States. bookmarked was born out of my desire to help creatives in the bookish community and shine a light on them.

Here are some fun facts about me:

• I have a male ginger cat named Oliver. He’ll be turning 6 years old in July.

• I’m a movie and TV connoisseur.

• I’m a music enthusiast, primarily indie, indie pop, and alternative.

• I have a bachelor of arts degree in Writing and Rhetoric and a minor in Mass Media.

• I have years of experience in graphic design and web design. I run my own writing and design studio. Find out more information here.

• I’ve been writing since I was a kid, and I never finished the first paranormal romance book I wrote (guess I might have to revisit it at some point—wink, wink).
